Latest Discovery in Science?

Can anyone give a latest invention or discovery in science? And can you please provide an article for it? thanks. The discovery must not be from a 2005 news...should be year 2006 discoveries.

3. That is an almost impossible question to answer! Science is discovering so many things so quickly that the “latest” discovery would be ten discoveries behind by the time I typed this! Pick an area that you find interesting, and try keeping up with that! The latest discovery, which is just now breaking in to the news after 6 years of debate is that light slows down! There might be up to, or even more than six dimensions, and our understanding of time might be all wrong! I have a thought that we create the latest discoveries! Will it in to being by just thinking about it! WE have now a 400,000 year old DNA sample! Sorry, not being light here! There are so many!
4. I gotch news flash right heah. The latest news descovery in 2995: YOU'RE UGLY and not really smart either!
5. Check NCBI PubMed. Tons of research papers. I go there all the time for when I have to present for journal club at lab meeting. There is a ton of stuff being discovered all the time. I just got done with a chromatin conference this weekend and it's amazing how much research is going on out there.
